As an on-the-road sales professional:
- Research, initiate, and implement sales strategies to grow commercial tire business
- Completing necessary follow up with customers, and continually updating customer requirements, purchases and buying levels.
- Provide alternative product if requested product is not available in an acceptable time frame.
- Accept sales request during sales calls and via telephone, fax, mail, etc.
- Ensure customer satisfaction with the final sale, explain receipts, obtain signatures.
- Ensure every client/customer request is processed in a timely manner to maintain a client base, ensuring the best service is provided to our client/customer
- Provide after service follow-up with all customers
- Handle client/customer complaints
- Perform fleet inspections as required
- Work with the inside sales team to answer phones, deliver customers, product etc.
What are we looking for?
- Someone with 1 to 2 years of work experience in sales and service in the tire industry
- Experience in the commercial tire industry is required
- The ideal candidate must be sales driven, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently to manage their region with minimal supervision.
- Valid Drivers License with a satisfactory Drivers Abstract is required
- Must be willing to participate in continuing education to upgrade knowledge in order to carry out responsibilities/duties.
- Ability to lift 25 kilograms when required
- A customer focused mindset is essential
- Must be willing to work flexible hours
