As an on-the-road sales professional:

  • Research, initiate, and implement sales strategies to grow commercial tire business
  • Completing necessary follow up with customers, and continually updating customer requirements, purchases and buying levels.
  • Provide alternative product if requested product is not available in an acceptable time frame.
  • Accept sales request during sales calls and via telephone, fax, mail, etc.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction with the final sale, explain receipts, obtain signatures.
  • Ensure every client/customer request is processed in a timely manner to maintain a client base, ensuring the best service is provided to our client/customer
  • Provide after service follow-up with all customers
  • Handle client/customer complaints
  • Perform fleet inspections as required
  • Work with the inside sales team to answer phones, deliver customers, product etc.

 What are we looking for?

  • Someone with 1 to 2 years of work experience in sales and service in the tire industry
  • Experience in the commercial tire industry is required
  • The ideal candidate must be sales driven, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently to manage their region with minimal supervision.
  • Valid Drivers License with a satisfactory Drivers Abstract is required
  • Must be willing to participate in continuing education to upgrade knowledge in order to carry out responsibilities/duties.
  • Ability to lift 25 kilograms when required
  • A customer focused mindset is essential
  • Must be willing to work flexible hours
