Overview

Accelerate your career as a Regional Salesperson in the Calgary region with Fountain Tire! The ideal candidate will support stores in the area and grow and cultivate various commercial clients in the region. Ideal applicants will possess knowledge with commercial tire application’s and have a solid sales acumen.

Your duties will include: 

  • Completing necessary follow up with customers, and continually updating customer requirements, purchases and buying levels
  • Verify if requested products are available
  • Provide alternative products if requested products are not available in an acceptable time frame
  • Accept sales requests during sales calls
  • Accept sales request via telephone, fax, mail, etc.
  • Process all pertinent information into the computer system
  • Maintain profitable growth as outlined from the Operations and Corporate Sales teams
  • Ensure customers are satisfied with the final sale, explain receipts, and obtain signatures
  • Ensure every client/customer requests are processed in a timely manner to maintain the client base
  • Ensure the best service is provided to our clients/customers
  • Provide after service follow-up with all customers
  • Handle client/customer complaints
  • Perform fleet inspections as required
  • Work with the inside sales team as required…answer phones, deliver customers, product etc.
  • Complete a call planner
  • Research, initiate, and implement strategies
  • Travel will be required within your territory
  • Provide comprehensive call reports

  • Establish a monthly solicitation schedule with Customers, store owners and suppliers. (ex. Goodyear)

  • Provide targeted sales plans for your territory

What does it take to get on track? 

  • Experience in the automotive or tire industry is an asset
  • Excellent driving record
  • Valid Drivers License, with a satisfactory Drivers Abstract
  • Offer self-motivation, self-initiative and the ability to perform under pressure
  • Must participate in continuing education to upgrade knowledge in order to carry out responsibilities/duties
  • Ability to lift 50 kilograms
  • Being customer focused
  • Available to work flexible hours
