Fountain Tire Nanaimo, an established automotive repair shop, is looking for a responsible, safe, and dedicated associate to join our team as a Tire Technician!

You will be responsible for:
- Completing service calls and Installing, balancing, rotating, and repairing passenger, light truck, and medium truck tires and wheels
- Resetting and repairing tire pressure monitoring systems (TPMS)
- Maintaining tire service equipment on a regularly scheduled basis
- Completing specialty tire work which could include studding, retread, run flat, nitrogen, etc.
- Assist in inventory management through documentation processes and annual inventory counts
- The responsibility to keep yourself and your coworkers safe
What does it take to get on track?
- We are looking for someone with a minimum of 1 year + experience working with passenger, light truck, and medium truck tires
- Experience working as a Service Truck Operator, and with OTR tires is a considerable asset
- A customer-service focus with the ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with team members and customers
- A keen attention to detail
- Ability to maintain a valid driver’s license and provide a satisfactory Driver’s Abstract
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to consistently lift 25 kilograms
