Responsibilities:
- Identify performance problems while using the diagnostic equipment and advising the customers and customer-facing associates on the work performed, general vehicle condition, and future suggested maintenance schedules and repair requirements.
- Perform scheduled maintenance service, such as oil changes, fluid level checks, tire rotations, lubrications, and tune ups.
- Ensure a safe workplace by adhering to all “work safe” protocols to ensure the safety of yourself and your coworkers including operating company and customer vehicles in a clean and safe manner.
- Obtain a clear understanding of customer concerns by reviewing work orders and discussing potential problems with the shop supervisor, while collaborating with team members to provide exceptional customer service and maintain a positive work environment.
- Perform scheduled maintenance services including oil changes, fluid level checks, tire rotations, lubrications, and tune-ups, while also maintaining mechanical service equipment on a regularly scheduled basis.
- Complete and maintain a variety of safety courses including Whimis, TIA, Rim Safety course, and Customer Experience Standards.

Qualifications:
- Must hold a valid Journeyman Automotive Service Technician certification. Red Seal is an asset.
- Must be proficient with wheel alignments, diagnostics and wiring including A/C Recharges R134, 1234YF, A/C Contaminant/coolant/break flushes, oil changes and maintenance packages.
- Must be licensed and experienced with Light Trailer Inspections/Wheel Bearing Repacks and out of province and commercial vehicle inspections
- Possess strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
- Have a keen attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
