Fountain Tire Fairview is seeking a skilled and motivated Automotive Service Technician to join our team. We are a well-established and reputable tire and automotive service provider, committed to delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining the highest standards of quality in the industry. Salary: $40 - 45 per hour (depending on experience and qualifications, more for dual ticket)
Signing bonus available and you can also be eligible for a relocation bonus!
Responsibilities:
Perform a wide range of automotive maintenance and repair tasks, including but not limited to: engine diagnostics, brake system repairs, suspension and steering repairs, electrical system troubleshooting, and general vehicle maintenance.
Conduct thorough vehicle inspections to identify potential issues and provide accurate diagnosis.
Utilize the latest diagnostic tools and equipment to efficiently identify and resolve automotive problems.
Follow established safety protocols and adhere to all industry standards and regulations.
Provide exceptional customer service by effectively communicating with customers regarding their vehicle concerns and recommended repairs.
Maintain accurate and detailed service records and documentation.
Stay up-to-date with the latest automotive technology and industry advancements through continuous learning and training.
Requirements:
Valid Journeyman Automotive Service Technician certification.
Dual ticket as an Automotive and Heavy Duty Technician is preferred.
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in using automotive repair tools and equipment.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
