Fountain Tire Moraine, is looking for responsible, safe and dedicated associates to join our team as an Automotive Service Technician. Ideally, we are looking for a Journeyman Technician, however we welcome strong 3rd and 4th year Apprentice applications.
Journeyman Pay: $34-$42/hour based on experience

Primary Responsibilities:
- Diagnose, repair and complete service on customer vehicles as directed by work orders
- Complete and maintain a variety of safety courses including Whimis, TIA, Rim Safety course, and Customer Experience Standards
- Advise customers and customer-facing Associates on work performed, general vehicle condition, and future repair requirements
- Perform scheduled maintenance service, such as oil changes, lubrications and tune ups.
- The responsibility to keep yourself and your coworkers safe
- Operate company and customer vehicles in a clean and safe manner
- Maintain mechanical service equipment on a regularly scheduled basis
- Assist in inventory management through documentation processes and annual inventory counts
- Pride in the work you've done keeping your customers safe and on the road, site or field!
Working conditions:
- A team environment where hard work, concise communication and clear heads are rewarded
- Consistent lifting of weights of approximately 25KG without assistance is required
- This work can unpredictable, physical, wet, cold, windy etc and we need someone who will be up for the challenge
- This role requires nearly constant standing, crouching or kneeling
Qualifications:
- Journeyman or Registered Apprentice automotive service technician
- A valid driver's license is a must. We also need to see that you are responsible on the road by providing a satisfactory driver's abstract
- Excellent customer service and a great attitude are a must
- A team player who takes pride in their work
